So there are hacks out there. Big Deal! It's no secret. Some use 'em - some don't. Mostly, Kabam (the game's owner's) don't care about them. They say they do, but let's be honest, how can they really be taken seriously when they keep letting players with might levels impossible to maintain without auto farming and auto barbing, keep playing?.... Just sayin....
The Scripting Debate
A fascinating thread has been opened on the official KoC Forum.
You will find the scripting debate here.
At the head of the thread is a poll and according to the latest figures, a noticeable majority of respondents to the question, "Do you want that the auto barbing of players to be stopped" was 'NO".
Here is just one extract...
"Our team has been working on several changes to the game that will prevent any players from using any type of external program or tool to cheat. We hope to have these changes released very soon. In the meantime, we do ask that you continue to report any players that you suspect are cheating so that we may perform an investigation."
The game has been widely touted by Kabam as being a "Free" game; do they really think we are that stupid? I guess so.
Question, what is the difference between buying your way to success in the game and scripting your way there? As near as I can tell, the only difference is that buying your way there puts cash in the game owners pockets while scripting doesn't.
Suffice it to say, While ever the Kingdom of Camelot game developers demonstrate their unwillingness (or inability) to deal with obvious script users who dominate the domain with might counts impossible to sustain without the use of scripts, it makes no sense to even play the game, knowing in advance that you are playing with one hand tied behind your back. So, here is your source for understanding and locating these tools as well as how to use them. Because the game is programmed to alert the game devs to the use of the word "script" and other references,
While ever Kabam support a policy of banning players who overuse scripts, you should avoid any mention of these tools in chat (alliance OR global), or using the game's messaging system, knowing that Kabam monitors these tools.
The best place for discussion about these tools is in either in private emails, or in private or Facebook (FB) chat.
The Tools
You need to be using FireFox as your browserfor tworeasons; (1) In Firefox you can cut and paste from the chat window, and (2) Firefox is the only browser which runs the scripts we use successfully. Google Chrome browser also allows cut and paste; it also runs GreaseMonkey scripts 100% perfectly for 60% of the time. More on a Google Chrome script at the end.
(1) FireFox Browser
The first tool to get is the Firefox Browser. To install it go to the top of the page and click "Tools > Scripts > FireFox Browser"
(2) GreaseMonkey
The second tool is Greasemonkey. This is the tool which makes all the scripts work, and shows up on the status bar of your FireFox browser at the extreme bottom right of your screen in the form of a small monkey's face, and also as a menu item with options on your menu bar under "Tools". Right clicking on the monkey's face will also sent you with options while left clicking will turn it off and on. To install this tool go to the Firefox pull down menu - Tools > Add Ons, then search for and install "GreaseMonkey", or go to the top of the page and click "Tools > Scripts > GreaseMonkey"
(3) Power Tools
The next tool is Power Tools. This tool does one thing only. It does what KOC already does but simply does it easier and very much better. Simply put, it is how the game developers could organise the game, had they the skills and desire to make the game as intuitive and as playable as it could be. Once you have used this tool to train troops, (no cheats involved), you will never go back to the way the game forces you to do it. Because of it's popularity you will find a number of versions of this tool, each tweaked in just another small way, but essentially the same.
PowerTools shows up on top of your game page as a blue tab called "Tools", which once installed, you should explore thoroughly, as there are too many benefits and facilities to describe here. To install this tool go to the top of this page and click on "Tools > Scripts > PowerTools" and click on the big green 'Install" button,
(3) PowerBot
The next tool is PowerBot. This tool plays well with, and was developed in conjunction with PowerTools.
PowerBot shows up on top of your game page as a blue tab called "Bot", which once installed, you should explore thoroughly, as there are too many benefits and facilities to describe here. To install this tool go to the top of this page and click on "Tools > Scripts > PowerBot" and click on the big green 'Install" button.
Note; If you want the Powertools and Bot in one, I recommend against it, But you will find it on the main menu under 'Tools'.
(5) KOC Attack Extra Features
Before I discovered the Flower Tool, this was my all in all for auto attacks, especially barbing. Did you know that you can survive quite easily up to around 8 million in might without farming any other player?
This tool shows up on top of your game page as a blue tab next to the "Options" button as either "Auto Attack Off" or "Auto Attack On" depending on whether it is switched on or off. To install this tool go to the top of this page and click on "Tools > Scripts > KOC Attack Extra Features" and click on the big green 'Install" button.
(6) Flower Tool
When it was first released this was a rewrite of the popular KoC Attack Extra Features and was unquestionably the most devestating tool then available. Even with the added features of the Bot, it is still an incredible resource gatherer.
CAREFULLY read the instructions on the tool's webpage. This is the slowest download ever so you have some time to read the instructions CAREFULLY. Do not leave the page until it has presented you with the "Install" window. Before I used this tool I used KOC Attack Extra Features. To install this tool go to the top of this page and click on "Tools > Scripts > Flower Tool" and click on the "Slow Download" button, and WAIT for the install window to come up, then install.
(6) A Google Chrome specific script exists which does some nice things in the way of auto building. You simply point and click where you want a specified type of building and it grows your city from literally nothing to a level 9 everything. So far as I know, it is the only script around that will build on an empty game square. To use it, first Install Google Chrome, then go to "Tools > Extensions" and search for "KOC" and install the only one that shows up. Also, it nicely installs in the place of those pesky useless FaceBook ads that inhabit the right side of your screen.
Well, there you are. Happy scripting!
